Dr. Zain A. Bhutta
Dr. Bhutta is an academic research specialist in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Helsinki. He obtained his medical licentiate degree from Dow University of Health Sciences and then entered an internal medicine residency training program at Aga Khan University Hospital.
Prior to starting his doctoral studies at the University of Helsinki, he completed a doctoral-level postgraduate short course in emergency medicine research at the Department of Epidemiological and Preventive Medicine at Monash University in Australia.
Additionally, he serves as a research faculty member for the residency training program in the Department of Emergency Medicine. His research focuses on evaluating and improving delays in stroke management during pre-hospital and emergency department phases, as well as assessing the impact of health programs.
