George Joy
George Joy is a counselor, motivational speaker, and researcher with over a decade of experience in mental health and social psychiatry. He serves as N/M Researcher II at Hamad Medical Corporation's Corporate Nursing Research Department, leading key mental health initiatives and projects.
A former assistant professor at MOSC Medical College, he has trained for the WHO's GFATM Project and holds dual master's degrees in counseling & psychotherapy and psychiatry, along with QMEP certification. Currently pursuing a PhD, he has authored over 30 publications and contributes to the Global Burden of Disease Study.
In 2024, George received Qatar's Rising Star Award and is recognized as an AMAN Champion for his commitment to well-being and evidence-based practice
