
Dr. Mohamed Ali
Dr. Mohamed Ali is a psychiatrist currently serving in Learning Disability Psychiatry at the Mental Health Service, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He completed his psychiatry residency training at HMC and became the first clinical fellow in learning disability psychiatry in Qatar and the Middle East, undertaking a structured fellowship that combined advanced clinical practice, research, and service development.
Dr. Ali's clinical expertise focuses on the care of adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and psychiatric comorbidities, with specialization in Positive Behavior Support (PBS). He has played a pivotal role in developing and delivering the PBS training program for MHS staff, promoting safer, evidence-based approaches to managing challenging behaviors.
Recognized for his leadership in advancing disability services, Dr. Ali continues to integrate clinical excellence, research, and education to improve outcomes for individuals with complex needs and to enhance the capacity of healthcare professionals in the region.
