Dr. Suzan Gamie M. Nassar
Dr. Suzan Gamie M. Nassar is an Associate Consultant in Academic General Pediatrics at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and serves as a faculty member in the Pediatrics Residency Program. She obtained her medical degree from Suez Canal University in Egypt and completed both her residency and fellowship training in Pediatrics at HMC. Dr. Nassar is certified by the Arab Board of Pediatrics and is a Member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH).
With 17 years of experience in pediatrics, Dr. Nassar's professional interests primarily focus on child growth and development. She frequently trains residents and fellows in developmental assessment and addresses faltering growth. Additionally, she has conducted research on pediatric growth patterns, the presentations of COVID-19 in children, and collaborative family-centered decision-making. Furthermore, she actively participates in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing outpatient access and care delivery.
