Eftikar Mohamed Al-Yafei
Eftikar Mohamed Al-Yafei is a clinical nurse specialist in urogenital oncology at Hamad Medical Corporation and a core member of the urogenital oncology team. She is also a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). With over 20 years of clinical experience, Eftikar has led several quality improvement initiatives and has played a key role in advancing multidisciplinary cancer care pathways in Qatar.
As the primary author and co-author of various research studies in uro-oncology and caregiver support, she has contributed to published work in UroPrecision. Eftikar has completed professional diplomas in information technology and artificial intelligence, as well as in leadership and management from Qatar University. Additionally, she holds postgraduate diplomas in mental health and coaching from Cambridge College, UAE. She actively participates in international conferences, professional workshops, and virtual courses, thereby contributing to advancements in oncology nursing, patient education, and community cancer awareness.
