Dr. Almunzer Zakaria
Dr. Almunzer Zakaria is the Acting Executive Director of Clinical Services and Development at Al Wakra Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and over 12 years in senior leadership, he specializes in clinical operations, healthcare quality, and systems improvement. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration for Healthcare Management and an MBA in Healthcare Quality and is a certified Fellow in Planetree Centered Care (FPCC), Team STEPPS Master Trainer, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB).
An IHI/HMC Quality Improvement and Safety Fellow and senior faculty member at the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, Dr. Zakaria is recognized for driving a culture of safety, high reliability, and patient-centered excellence.
