Dr. Swamyvel Sethuraman
Dr. Swamyvel Sethuraman is a highly accomplished assistant research nurse and assistant professor with over 18 years of teaching and clinical experience in psychiatric and mental health nursing. He currently works at Hamad Medical Corporation's Mental Health Services, where he actively contributes to research, education, and evidence-based practice. His expertise includes clinical leadership, research supervision, curriculum development, and mental health interventions, with a particular focus on cognitive behavior therapy, aggression management, and addiction psychiatry.
Dr. Sethuraman has supervised more than 30 postgraduate research projects, authored a textbook on mental health nursing, and served on the editorial board of the International Journal of Advanced Research in Medical, Nursing, and Health Sciences. He has presented at numerous international conferences and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
