Maryam Ali Ameri
Maryam Ali Ameri is the Acting Director of Nursing for the Gastroenterology Department at the Ambulatory Care Center. With over 20 years of nursing experience focused on endoscopy and GI clinic services, she has developed extensive expertise in both patient care and the operational management of this specialty.
She earned her master's degree in quality and safety in healthcare management in 2018 and is dedicated to applying these principles to enhance patient outcomes, promote staff well-being, and drive continuous improvement in care delivery.
Maryam is recognized for her collaborative and supportive leadership style, valuing teamwork, active listening, and creating an environment where nurses are empowered to contribute and develop professionally. She places patients at the center of every decision, ensuring safety, comfort, respect, and clear communication guide all aspects of care.
