Dr. Hussein Ziab
 
Dr. Hussein Ziab serves as the Autism Rehabilitation Program Coordinator at Al-Maha Pediatric Specialized Care Center, part of Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. With over 15 years of clinical and academic experience, he holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy, a PhD in Physiotherapy, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Ethics and Biomedical Ethics. His expertise encompasses pediatric rehabilitation, autism services, and physiotherapy research, having published more than 20 articles in leading international journals.

At Al-Maha, Dr. Ziab directs multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs aimed at children with autism, aligning these initiatives with Qatar's National Autism Strategy. On an international level, he actively contributes to master's and doctoral research in areas such as education, special education, physiotherapy, and patient experience in healthcare.

Dr. Ziab has been recognized for his efforts in enhancing family–professional partnerships and promoting health equity. His current work focuses on person-centered care, innovative rehabilitation models, and the incorporation of equity principles into pediatric and rehabilitation services, as well as all health-related services.
