Dr. Menandro Mahinay is a UK-registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC) with over 25 years of clinical expertise. He earned his doctorate in occupational therapy in 2022 from the University of Perpetual Help in Biñan, Philippines, and currently serves as an occupational therapy supervisor at Heart Hospital in Doha, Qatar. His specialization in cardiovascular rehabilitation is enhanced by advanced training in Switzerland (2012) and international certification in cardiac rehabilitation through ICCPR (2020).
As a certified neuro-developmental therapist and a corporate ergonomic and manual handling assessor/instructor, Dr. Mahinay has led rehabilitation practices that connect intensive care with long-term recovery. He authored a cardiac occupational therapy protocol study published in an Asian journal and co-authored quality improvement programs published in the BMJ (2021-2024) that promote early rehabilitation and functional independence in cardiothoracic patients, demonstrating his commitment to evidence-based practice.
