Dr. Sazgar is a women consultant psychiatrist. She has completed her post graduate training and degrees in psychiatry in the United Kingdom. She has been involved in several women service development projects since she joined HMC in 2019.
Dr. Sazgar has a long-standing interest in medical education and professional development of the next generation of clinicians. She has worked as a lecturer in psychiatry at the University of Birmingham and she established women psychiatry program fellowship; the first of its kind in the middle east region in 2020. She is currently program director for psychiatry residency and women's mental health fellowship training program at HMC.
