Ms. Layla Al Jasmi

Ms. Layla Al Jasmi is an Executive Director for Workforce Training and Development at Primary Healthcare Corporation, having worked as a senior clinical and workforce development director for over 16 years within the corporation.

Previously, Ms. Layla Al Jasmi has led senior positions of authority at Qatar Petroleum as a Chief of Nursing in the Medical Services and as Clinical Instructor in the School of Nursing at Qatar University. 

Ms. Layla is an active champion for workforce skills, development, and professional education across health care teams.

She has completed the Executive MBA program through HEC Paris, as a world-class MBA program for highly talented executives globally. Her post-graduate MSN (hons) degree from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom from her inspired career development to champion health professions developments, and now much wider to contribute best practice in workforce skills, development initiatives and strategy, for the primary healthcare sector in the State of Qatar.

With a keen eye towards innovation and sustainability, Ms. Layla recognizes the importance of ensuring workforce development reflects new technologies, and advancements in health care. This includes strategic plans for adoption of e-Learning, blended learning, and technology investment in workforce training and development. This ensures that healthcare professionals are equipped with the necessary skills to provide high-quality preventative and wellness care as a high performing healthcare team.

Ms. Layla recognizes the importance of collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders in the healthcare sector. She believes in collaboration with government agencies, academic institutions, healthcare organizations.
