Mr. Ramzi Ayesh is a Senior Support Specialist at QU Health Cluster at Qatar University. His broad expertise encompasses a former role as an Educational Technology Specialist in the Virtual Reality Labs at Qatar University, where he played a crucial role in 3D and VR development. In his capacity at QU Health, Mr. Ayesh skillfully manages various business support activities, showcasing his adaptability and multifaceted skillset in different organizational contexts. His previous engagement at the Virtual Reality Labs involved pioneering work in designing and developing 3D models and virtual reality modules for diverse applications, underlining his dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technology in education. Ramzi's career at Qatar University, spanning over 19 years, has been marked by his dual roles in educational technology and IT support. As an Educational Technology Specialist since May 2014, he has been a frontrunner in creating educational content using Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. His proficiency extends across various 3D software tools and includes expertise in real-time visualization, 3D file conversion, and tracking systems. Notably, Ramzi has been actively involved in numerous research projects exploring color perception in relation to body performance, as well as security and safety monitoring in scientific laboratories. His significant contributions to these research areas have been recognized at various conferences, including ISAFA and the Qatar University Annual Research Forum and Exhibition in 2018 and 2019. He received the Visualization Challenge Award in 2018 for the Dar Al Maha Project and again in 2019 for his work on monitoring security and safety in a chemistry laboratory, collaborating with ADLSA and iLO. His project on Security and Safety at Work, utilizing virtual reality, is a testament to his innovative approach in applying VR in practical settings. Additionally, at Qatar Foundation's Osage Academy, he collaborated with Dr. Elaham in the iSTEMed Camp 2019, focusing on enhancing STEM learning through virtual reality. This collaboration highlights his commitment to educational advancements and his ability to apply VR technology in enriching learning experiences.
