Afaf Elsayed Ismail

Tissue Viability - Clinical Nurse Specialist and Leader of wound care services at HGH- inpatient 

Ms. Afaf joined Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar in 2004 and has 17 years of experience in wound care and management. She completed BSN from University of Alexandria in 1990 and IIWCS from Toronto University 2013 Diploma in Wound Care Management from Amman University in 2014 and MSc in skin integrity skills and treatment from the University of Hertfordshire (2015). Ms. Afaf is a member of the editorial board meeting in wound management journal and adjunct lecturer in Calgary University in 2018 as well as the co-chair of Corporate Nursing Network Wound Care Committee for three years.

Ms. Afaf is involved in many internal and external educational activities such as speaker in first Qatar International Wound Care Conference in 2016, 2nd Wound Care Conference in Dubai 2015, Pressure Injury Symposium in Qatar in 2018, Neuroscience Symposium in 2019, Pressure Injury Workshop in November 2022,
