Dr. Fiaz Alam Shamsul Alam
Consultant Rheumatology
Dr. Fiaz Alam graduated from Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship and has worked as a Consultant in Rheumatology at Hamad General Hospital since 2018.
Throughout his journey, research has been an integral part of Dr. Fiaz's career. He received the Best Research Award in 2017. Dr. Fiaz is particularly interested in musculoskeletal Ultrasonography and runs an ultrasound clinic weekly in outpatient - HGH. Dr. Fiaz plans to continue his academic and research activities in Qatar and aims to contribute to the region's growing medical and scientific fields. He is also a member of the Qatar Rheumatology Association and Qatar Osteoporosis Association.
