Dr. Amr Fares is a Senior Consultant of Vascular Surgery Section of the Department of Surgery in Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation since August 2002 and an Assistant Professor of Surgery in Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar since 2005. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in Alexandria University in Egypt in 1989.He pursued master’s in surgery in Alexandria University in June 1994. He earned his diploma in Vascular Surgery under the European Society of Vascular Surgery at Liverpool UK in June 1999, finished his Fellowship in Vascular Surgery in Liverpool, UK in June 2001 and later on pursued his MD in Surgery at Ain- Shams University in Cairo, Egypt on February 2002.
He has published several publications since 2000 in regional and international journals.
