Dr. Reham Hassan
Dr. Reham is A/AED Quality Management and partnerships in Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute. She has an MPH and currently a lecturer CHS-QU, academically supporting the Health Systems Improvement MPH concentration and supervising masteral student’s practicum projects. She is an HMC/IHI fellow & IHI improvement Advisor.
She is a clinical hematologist by training and in practice, who has joined HMC 17 years back as a frontline physician and has taken over the responsibilities as a Chief resident of NCCCR starting with her first project in developing an internal rotating residents’ orientation program. Acting as the Medical Quality lead in NCCCR, she actively contributed in the continuous readiness for the JCI accreditation since 2006 and led several local improvement projects.
In 2011 she was certified as professional health care quality, CPHQ by NAHQ and in 2012 she was certified as Six Sigma Green Belt. She is also certified as a level 1 clinical microsystems Coach by The Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy in 2013.
She is currently the executive manager of the IHI/HMC-HHQI partnership agreement and leading different initiatives and workstreams under this partnership like National Value Improvement Collaborative. She also co-leads on the HHQI education & Training agenda and the Program director. She is also a Core faculty & Coach in several training programs of HMC/HHQI on Quality & Patient safety among which the CCITP and Improvement leadership Programs.
She is a coach and facilitator in The Comskil Training- HMC Communication training course, several Qatar University
(CHS and CMED) workshops and training courses. Her previous HMC forum and conferences contributions are SPC and speaker-Patient Experience forum (2019- 2021) and co-deputy SPC chair and speaker- Middle East Forum (2014-2021).
