Dr. Kholood Ateeq Al-Mutawaa, MD, RTPCM
Dr. Kholood Al-Mutawaa is a Public Health Senior Consultant. She finished Executive MBA from PARIS University. She is the Head of Non-Communicable Diseases in the Ministry of Public Health, in the state of Qatar. She is highly involved in the implementation of health promotions including diabetes projects, tobacco cessation, mental and addiction, accidents and trauma, and many public health-related researches.
She is leading many national programs, improving the governance/management model for Non-Communicable Diseases in Qatar.
She is an NCD regional focal point, chair of EMRO Bureau of the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products in Geneva as well as a WHO FCTC focal point (WHO framework convention on tobacco control).
