Dr. Castle has extensive experience of in-hospital as well as pre-hospital emergency care and has worked closely with the UK and South African ambulance services, the UK military, NHS and UK non-governmental organizations. Dr. Castle is one of only two non-physicians to hold accreditation with the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburg) as a Consultant in Prehospital Emergency Medicine. Dr. Castle has a specialist interest in cardiology, resuscitation, CBRN, mass gatherings and mass casualty incidents. Dr. Castle has over 90 peer reviewed publications which include fourteen publications relating to the treatment of patients following a CBRN event reflecting his completed Ph.D. thesis.
