Franclin Pineda
Franclin Pineda is a Registered Nurse and has worked in clinical and academic institutions. He worked as a clinical instructor in the Philippines and is currently working in the role of the acting Director of Nursing Education at the Mental Health Service in HMC. Within this role, Franclin manages the education team to support staff and service development at the Mental Health Service.
He has developed and delivered many curricula in mental health, communication, and nursing education. He also had delivered many oral and poster presentations in different conferences and symposia.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, he had significant contributions in establishing the National Mental Health Helpline aiming to provide psychosocial support to people experiencing severe stress reactions, anxiety and depression. He has led the development and delivery of workshops, webinars and educational interventions aimed at promoting mental health awareness, wellbeing and stress management within HMC and to external organizations.
