Dr. Husham Abdelrahman is the Director of the Trauma Resuscitation Unit at Hamad General; Assoc. Prof. of Clinical Surgery at Qatar University, and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College - Qatar.
He is a graduate of the Mansoura Medical Faculty, Egypt, Trauma & Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Hamad General Hospital, Qatar. He holds a master’s degree in Medical Education from the Joint Master of PHE in Suez Canal-Maastricht Universities.
Dr. Husham specializes in trauma, general surgery, and critical care.
He has interests in medical education, quality, and disaster medicine. He is also a course director/instructor in many international courses, including ATLS, ITLS, ATOM, FCCS, GIC, EBA, FDM, FCCS, TEAM MIMMS, and HMIMMS.
