On the surface, Jerome is an accomplished nurse with over 15 years of nursing management experience. He is a graduate of BS in Computer Science, BS in Nursing and has completed his master’s degree in Nursing - major in Nursing Administration. He is currently finishing his Diploma for Healthcare Leadership and Management at the same time preparing for his final dissertation defense for Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. He is the Chief Nurse of Qatar Red Crescent since 2015.
Jerome is also an educator, having lectures on nursing leadership and management and quality and safety improvement courses. Aside from being a certified First Aid, BLS and ACLS instructor, he also serves as the QRC training center - American Heart Association Course Administrator.
Jerome has contributed to the development of countless policies for the organization and has championed the nursing department projects. Aside from being a member of numerous organizational committees, Jerome spearheads the Medical Intervention/Disaster Management team which oversees the QRC Field Hospital. He has extensive experience in many field hospital deployments and humanitarian missions - locally and abroad.
