Dr. Rahil Kassamali is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), where he also serves as the research lead for interventional radiology. He is a core member of the hepatobiliary tumor board and regularly performs complex image-guided liver interventions.

Dr. Kassamali studied medicine at the University of Birmingham, UK, where he also completed his internship and radiology residency. He went on to undertake a prestigious fellowship in interventional radiology at Alfred Health, Melbourne, Australia. He holds both the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR).

Before relocating to Qatar, he served as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at University Hospitals Birmingham, UK. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, serves as a reviewer for leading scientific publications, and is a frequent invited speaker at international radiology and surgical congresses.

In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Kassamali is a Senior Lecturer at Aston Medical School, UK, with a strong commitment to medical education and advancing the field of minimally invasive therapies.​
