Nagwa ​Fawzy Nana is the Director of Nursing at Hamad General Hospital with over 26 years of experience in clinical nursing leadership, education, and healthcare management. She is currently completing her PhD in Community Health Nursing at Assiut University, focusing on occupational health and climate change impacts. She holds a Master’s degree in Community Health Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Gerontology.

Her research and professional interests span nursing education, patient safety, occupational health, and climate-related health challenges. She has presented at several national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, including work on caregiver burden and cost reduction in healthcare settings.

Ms. Nana is actively involved in hospital-wide leadership roles and committees, including surgical nursing networks, patient safety, sepsis, and VTE prevention. She is committed to advancing evidence-based nursing practice and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.​
