Dr. Ahmed Elaffandi is a Senior Consultant Surgeon in the Liver Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), where he performs complex Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) procedures and liver transplantation. His clinical focus lies in major liver and pancreatic surgery with a strong interest in advanced minimally invasive techniques.
Prior to joining HMC, Dr. Elaffandi trained and worked in several renowned HPB units in the United Kingdom, including Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Birmingham), King’s College Hospital (London), the Royal London Hospital, and the Royal Free Hospital.
