Dr. Fawzi Al-Ayoubi is a seasoned Consultant in General and Trauma Surgery and currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at AMNM, where he leads clinical strategy and operational excellence across the organization. With over two decades of global surgical and executive leadership experience, he has held pivotal roles in Sweden, the UAE, and Qatar, driving healthcare innovation and quality improvement.

Dr. Al-Ayoubi earned his M.D. from Linköping University School of Medicine in Sweden, completing his surgical training at Linköping University Hospital. He pursued advanced training in trauma and critical care at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and completed fellowships in Emergency Surgery and Acute Care Surgery. He also holds leadership credentials from the Swedish Surgical Society, the Swedish National School for Surgical Consultants, and an Executive MBA from the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Prior to joining AMNM, he served as Chief Medical Executive at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (UAE), and as Chief of Trauma and Chair of Surgery at Mafraq Hospital. He also held academic appointments at Gulf Medical University and was Assistant Professor of Traumatology at the Centre for Disaster Medicine in Sweden. Dr. Al-Ayoubi has been actively involved in humanitarian missions with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the Swedish Relief Agency, and the Lebanese Red Cross.

He is known for his work in trauma system development, surgical service redesign, and health system optimization. His achievements include establishing Centers of Excellence, satellite care units, and national programs for trauma, diabetes, stroke, and STEMI. He has also led quality and accreditation efforts, including ISO, CAP, and clinical stewardship programs.
