Dr. Reem Ali Al Radwan is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive expertise in transfusion medicine. She holds the prestigious FRCPATH in Transfusion Medicine and an MD. Since November 2008, Dr. Al Radwan has served as the Director of Blood Transfusion Administration Services and the Medical Director of Kuwait's Central Blood Bank.
She has made significant contributions to the field, notably as the Head of the Cord Blood and Stem Cell Committee in Kuwait since 2012. Dr. Al Radwan is also an influential figure in several high-level boards, including the Medical Laboratory Department at the Ministry of Health, the Faculty of Laboratory at KIMS, and key organizations like the GCC Committee of Blood Transfusion Services, the Arab League of Blood Transfusion Services, the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT).
