Prof. Naïma Lahbabi-Amrani 

Dr. Amrani is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Mohammed V University-Morocco; Secretary General of World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO), Director of WGO Rabat Endoscopy Training Center (http://wgo-rtc.um5s.ac.ma), and the President of African Middle Eastern Society of Digestive Oncology (AMSDO). She is Honorary President of The Pan-Arab Association of Gastroenterology, since 2011 and member of the following committees: WGO Nominations Committee, WGO Training Centers Committee, Executive Committee of AMAGE (African-Middle Eastern Association of Gastroenterology), Executive Council of IDCA (International Digestive Cancer Alliance), Governing Council of Pan-Arab Society of Gastroenterology, Governing Council of Moroccan Society of Gastroenterology (SMMAD), and Founder Member AAFFCHGE (Association Africaine Francophone de Formation Continue en Hépato-Gastroentérologie). Professor Amrani is currently the head of Hepato-Gastroenterology Unit, Ibn Sina Hospital – Rabat. She is a member of the Editorial Board Member of BMJ Open Gastroenterology, (sponsored by BMJ and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) - Editorial Board Member of “Journal Africain d’Hépato-Gastroentérologie” (JAHG) - Consultant Member of “Cancéro Digest” - Consultant Member of “HEGEL” - Consultant Member of “ACTA Endoscopica”. Professor Amrani has published many articles in peer reviewed journals and has received many distinctions and awards.
