Dr. Husen graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Benghazi University in 1993, started training at Benghazi hospitals as a senior house officer in Medicine, then moved to UK in 1997. He completed his SHO training and obtained MRCP-UK and enrolled in specialist training as a specialist Registrar, which concluded in 2008 with an award of CCT in General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
He held consultant posts in Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, and at Benghazi Medical Centre in Libya where he also held the post of Director of Education and Training, before moving to KSA to take up his current post.
