Dr. Mohamed Sir Elkhatim is a consultant Oncology at the National Centre for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR). He graduated medical school with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Gezira in Sudan. He subsequently completed his internal medicine residency and Oncology fellowship training at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar.
He was actively involved in research and published in various esteemed journals including Annal of Oncology and Journal for Immunotherapy of cancer.
He is also involved in education both locally and international as TA affiliated with Harvard School of Public Health teaching Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) following extended training in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics and training in Research.
He is Arab Board certified in Internal Medicine and received certification from the Royal College of Physicians, London MRCP in 2017.
His research is focused on GI oncology and Immunology.
