Hasan Rizvi

Dr Rizvi is a senior histopathologist at Hamad Medical Corporation working at Hamad General Hospital and the National Cancer Care Centre in Doha, Qatar. He trained in US and UK and worked for the last 16 years in London with his last roles being Regional Lead for Pathology for London for NHS England, Clinical Director for Digital Learning for the Royal College of Pathologists, Senior Examiner for FRCPath examinations for RCPath, National lead for undergraduate pathology education for RCPath, Lead for undergraduate education for Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Lead for Haematopathology and for Digital Pathology at Barts Health NHS Trust where he was a consultant haematopathologist and Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary, University of London. He was successful in securing grant funding of over nine million pounds, half of it as PI. He has published in Lancet and Nature and is currently working on a book chapter on haematopathology.
