Dr. Shereen Elazzazy is an Assistant Director of Pharmacy and Head of Clinical Services in the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR), Qatar, a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University, and a World Health Organization (WHO) Consultant (Cancer Expert). 
She received her BSc in Pharmacy from Egypt, then two doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Purdue University, USA, in 2011, and a PhD in Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy Practice from Kingston University, United Kingdom in 2023.
In addition, she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Spain in 2021, and a Diploma of Specialization in Coaching and NLP from Spain in 2021. 
She completed several certifications from Harvard University; the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI); the University of Southern Indiana; the University of Georgia; ACCP; ASPEN; INSEAD, France; BMJ Research; the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF); Purdue University; and other international institutions.
Dr. Shereen has been a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University since 2024, and an Adjunct Faculty Member since 2011. 
Furthermore, she is a Clinical Sponsor of the PharmD Program at the University of Colorado, USA, an Instructor for BMJ Clinical Trials, and a local mentor for Pharmacy School and Queen’s University, United Kingdom. 
She has more than 120 abstracts and 75 peer-reviewed publications, as well as abstracts and keynote presentations presented at national, regional and international events.
Additionally, she is an Editor and Editorial Board member in 13 peer-reviewed journals and a peer reviewer for eight international journals. 
Dr. Shereen has extensive experience in hospital, clinical, industrial pharmacy; clinical trials and clinical research; academic teaching; education and mentorship; healthcare quality; business development and business management; leadership and management; strategic planning; and Join Commission accreditation and certification. 
Her areas of expertise are mainly oncology, parenteral nutrition, palliative care, hematology, precision medicine, VTE, clinical trials, publication and editing, business management, and pharmacy practice. 
She has received many awards and recognitions on national and international levels and was endorsed by UNESCO Qatar.
