Dr. Rand Anwar Alattar is a registered Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist at the Communicable Disease Center, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar.
She completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy from University College London (UCL) in the United Kingdom. She later pursued postgraduate studies at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she earned a Diploma in Clinical Research.
Dr. Alattar brings extensive clinical experience, beginning her hospital training at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in the United Kingdom before joining HMC as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist.
Her professional passion lies in clinical research, and she has been recognized among Qatar’s Top 1000 Scientists by the AD Scientific Index – World Scientist and University Rankings for the past four consecutive years.
In addition to her clinical and research roles, Dr. Alattar is dedicated to advancing pharmacy education. She currently serves as the Continuous Pharmacy Development (CPD) Officer at her institution.
Dr. Alattar also actively contributes to several key committees, including the Antimicrobial Subcommittee, CDC Research Advisory Committee, and Sepsis Committee.
