Clinical Pharmacist
Ammar Al Abdullah is a Clinical Pharmacist at Hamad Medical Corporation with over 20 years of international experience in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. He received board certifications in Cardiology (BCCP), Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), and Geriatrics (CGP), and is licensed in both Qatar and Canada.
In addition, he earned a Certificate in Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Ammar completed a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, specializing in machine learning, deep learning, and large language models with a focus on clinical decision support.
His competencies span supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning; biomedical data analytics; and telemedicine solutions integrating NLP, virtual assistants, and speech recognition. His research interests include cardiology, infectious diseases, and artificial intelligence. He has presented at international conferences on antimicrobial stewardship and AI-enabled clinical decision support systems.
