Dr. Ameena Salem AlYazeedi AlYafei, RPh, MBA, CPHQ, BCGP, is the Director of Pharmacy at Rumailah Hospital. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen’s University, Belfast.
She earned her MBA from Manchester Business School, focusing on the evaluation of pharmacy performance and quality improvement. Certified in healthcare quality (CPHQ, USA) and geriatric pharmacy (BCGP), she has led pharmacy departments across three specialized HMC hospitals for over 23 years.
Her leadership is demonstrated through successful quality initiatives, including outstanding performance In Joint Commission International (JCI) Medication Management and Use (MMU) standards. She is an active contributor to national and regional conferences and serves as a core member of various executive and corporate committees.
