Dr. HossamAldein Mahgoub is a Pediatric Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist with more than 15 years of specialized experience in optimizing medication therapy for critically ill children.
He has played key roles in several major clinical initiatives, most notably contributing to the first implementation of gene therapy for spinal muscular atrophy outside a research setting.
His passion for education and workforce development led him to earn a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education with a concentration in Medical Simulation from Massachusetts General Hospital, United States.
He currently leads and advances simulation-based training in the pediatric departments at Hamad General Hospital and leads simulation-based teaching for pediatric residency and fellowship programs at Sidra Medicine, enhancing clinical skills and patient safety.
