Dr. Alaa Rahhal, BSc (Pharm), MSc
Clinical Pharmacist
Dr. Alaa Rahhal is a clinical pharmacist at the Heart Hospital since August 2018. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Qatar University in 2014, followed by completion of her ASHP accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency in 2018.
She has American board certifications in cardiology, critical care, and nutrition. She holds two MSc degrees: the first in Pharmacoeconomics and the second in clinical Pharmacogenomics.
She is an active researcher in the field of cardiology and critical care with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, as well as 60 abstracts presented at international conferences, and has an H-index of 12.
