Dr. Alya Salah Higazy
Clinical Pharmacist
Dr. Alya Higazy is a Clinical Pharmacist at Al-Wakra hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She completed her BSc (Pharm) with Honors in 2016 and her PharmD in 2017 from Qatar University. She joined HMC in December 2017 and currently practices in the general pediatric ward, the pediatric intensive care unit, the pediatric emergency department, and the neonatal intensive care unit.
Dr. Alya is currently pursuing s PhD degree in clinical and population health from Qatar University. Her research interests include therapeutic drug monitoring, precision dosing, antimicrobial dosing, pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modelling and simulation, and pediatrics.
