Buthaina Mortazawi is a Senior Pharmacy Technology professional with over a decade of experience in automated medication management and healthcare systems optimization. She currently serves as a Pharmacy Technician – Pyxis System Manager in Doha, Qatar, where she plays a pivotal role in the implementation, governance, and performance optimization of Pyxis automated dispensing systems across clinical areas.
She holds a Master of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Technology from the Doha University of Science and Technology. Buthaina is also certified through the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Program (IPTeC).
Her professional interests focus on patient safety, automation-driven efficiency, and workforce development. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences on automation, emergency pharmacy practice, and clinical outcomes.
