Dr. Zohair Abdelgadir H Elseid

DR. Zohair Abdelgadir H Elseid is an Epidemiologist at the Health Emergency Department of the Ministry of Health, Qatar. Dr Zohair has more than 20 years of experience in disease surveillance, outbreaks control, investigation and response in his home country of Sudan. He is a qualified epidemiologist from the Egyptian Board and is one of the few Field Epidemiology Training Program (CDC-USA) graduates currently working in Qatar.
Dr. Zohair’s extensive experience includes work in conflict and complex humanitarian emergencies including Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya, and Iraq. Dr. Zohair also served as the Head of Mission of the Qatar Red Crescent Society in Somalia and Iraq for five years (three and two respectively). He possesses good knowledge of the health services in the GCC region, having worked in Saudi Arabia and currently in Qatar.
