Dr. Marwa Abuzaid is a qualified public health and community physician with more than 11 years’ experience holding several managerial and leadership positions in academic and health system research. She received several short trainings in research methodology from different reputable universities as University of Washington (USA) and University of Leeds (UK).
Dr. Marwa had a sound experience in the area of research methodology and biostatistics training in terms of provision of short courses for postgraduate doctors and allied health professionals as well as undergraduate medical students. Also, she participated in the development of research methodology curricula for post and undergraduates in different institutions.
Dr. Marwa led many research projects at both national and international levels in collaboration with different UN agencies like WHO, UNICEF as well as research institutions like Carter Center, International Coach Federation (ICF - USA), Royal Tropical Institute (KIT- Netherland).
