Dr. Zerak Alsalihy
Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry
Dr. Zerak Alsalihi is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Hamad Medical Corporation, focusing on geriatric psychiatry. He trained and qualified in the U.K. and has worked in the field of old age psychiatry for many years. He is a Director of the old age psychiatry fellowship program at HMC and the clinical lead of the Al Wakra Hospital psychiatry service.
Dr. Alsalihi is a member of the Royal College of psychiatrists and is listed on the General Medical Councils Specialist Register, under old age psychiatry in the U.K. He is also an assistant professor in clinical psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar.
Dr. Alsalihi is a core member of the Global Dementia Observatory (GDO) team in Qatar, and is responsible for the policy and guidelines domain of this program. He is involved in the development of dementia services in Qatar under the umbrella of GDO.
