Dr. Thamer Alessa (Kuwait)
Dr. Thamer Alessa is a Senior Specialist in the Department of Endocrinology at the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and Dasman Diabetes Institute. He received the bachelor degree of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Kuwait, Faculty of Medicine. He is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine after completing residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital and Miami VA Hospital. He is Vice President of the Kuwait Osteoporosis Society, a board member of the Kuwait Endocrine Society, Chair of the Endocrine and Diabetes Fellowship Program Board Exam Committee and a member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program Board Exam Committee at the Kuwait Institute of Medical Society.
