
Mehdi Mohamed Errayes, MBBS, CABMS
Dr. Errayes graduated from Tripoli medical school 1988, then had his training in UK and awarded the Diploma in Internal Medicine 1996, from Hammersmith Hospital, University of London, UK. In 1997 he awarded the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in Internal Medicine. In 1998 he joined the Department of Medicine, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar and worked in Medical Intensive Care Unit and in Division of General Internal Medicine. Currently he is holds a senior consultant post in the Department of Medicine – Internal Medicine and also holds an academic position in Weill Cornell Medical College - Qatar since 2006 as well as working as Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine. During his work in Hamad General Hospital he was involved in all the dynamic changes to help HMC to achieve JCI accreditation and also as core faculty to credit the Internal Medicine residency program under the ACGME-I. His special interest is teaching and improving patients’ quality of care, in addition to internal and critical care medicine. He has received numerous awards and has published articles in peer reviewed medical journals.
