Dr. Hisham Ziglam is a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Hamad General Hospital in Qatar. He currently leads of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Service across Hamad General Hospital. He is also a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine at Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tripoli.

Dr. Ziglam received his M.B., Ch.B. (MD) from Tripoli Medical University at Tripoli, Libya.
He finished his training in Internal Medicine in Nottingham and Dundee and became a Consultant in Manchester, UK.

Dr. Hisham has extensive experience in medical education and teaching postgraduate residents and fellows as well as undergraduate medical students. He was an examiner for the MRCP PACES exam in the UK and an official Arab Board and Libyan Board examiner for the internal medicine specialty.

Dr. Ziglam has published over 50 articles in peer reviewed medical journal and is an
editorial board member and reviewer for a number of international medical journals.
In addition to being a member of many regional and international professional associations and societies, he had been invited to speak at a number of regional and international
conferences.
