Prof. Bateman is a cardiologist and certified in nuclear cardiology. Initially, he was affiliated with Cedar Sini Medical center and the University of California at Los Angeles. Since 1987 he has worked atSt. Luke’s Kansas City, Missouri. Over the past 40 years, he has contributed to each new development in clinical nuclear cardiology. He has authored over 350 articles, several book chapters, and practice guidelines. He is a member of Medical education, Practice review, grant, and research review committees. He is a past president of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the InterSocietal Commission for the Accreditation of CT Labs. Currently, he heads the CV Council of SNMMI. He is known for his expertise in Cardiac PET.
