Ms. Khadija Al Shukaili

Ms. Khadija Al Shukaili is well known for her expertise in leading large health care facilities working for more than 24 years in the Gulf region.

She worked with government and private sectors in countries across Middle East and internationally. Her focus areas are strategic planning and operational management and her goals are improving patient safety, enhancing patient experience and staff performance.

She assumed the post of acting Executive Director of Nursing at HGH in April 2020 overseeing more than 4000 staff at HGH, ACC and CDC and supporting HMC during COVID19 pandemic. She worked with NHICC, HGH and CDC on flow improvement process and support in the deployment of over 1000 frontliners to COVID19 facilities.

She is keen in supporting nurse led initiatives, value for money projects, MCAP implementation and Qatari Nursing leaders' development program. Moreover, she is an active member of Multiple Chronic Disease National Committee at MOPH and Healthy Cities WHO – EMRO program representing HMC and MOPH. She is a member of Lung – Heart Transplant Corporate Committee which recently conducted the first success story of lung transplant case in the country.

Ms. Khadija is passionate in promoting innovative initiatives and grateful to be part of valuable member of the senior management team of HMC.
