Amaia Artazcoz Glaria
Amaia Artazcoz Glaria is currently a Mass Gathering Technical Officer at the World Health Organization’s World Health Emergencies Programme (WHE), Country Health Emergency, Preparedness, and International Health Regulations (CPI) Department since 2018.
She is a former Preparedness Officer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. Amaia is a resourceful Public Health Expert, with 16 years’ hands-on experience in international projects, in three different continents. She has a solid background in emergency preparedness and response, having led high performing teams in humanitarian emergencies bringing effective creative solutions to complex project management issues.
Her studies include an MPH at Kings College London and Tropical Medicine at the LSHTM.
