Professor. Michael Bachmann
Prof. Michael Bachmann is Head of Tumorimmunologie at the Cancer Center (UCC) of the University Hospital, Carl-Gustav Carus Universität Dresden and Director of the Institute of Radiopharmaceutical Tumor Research. He is also Department Head of Tumor-/Radioimmunologie, Helmholtzzentrum Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR), Germany.
Prof. Bachmannhas has featured in more than 400 scientific journals and books including Cell and Nature Biotechnology, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Blood, Leukemia, Proc. Natl. Acad. U.S.A., J. Immunology, J. Biol. Chem., Nucl Acids Res. and the Blood Cancer Journal as well as others.
He is also a reviewer for numerous journals including J. Clin. Invest. Leukemia and Nucleic Acids Research, J. Biological Chemistry, J., Immunology, Gene, and many other publications. Prof. Bachmann is also a grant reviewer for funding bodies such as Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Jose Carreras and the Wellcome Trust (UK).
Prof. Bachmann has research experience in Immunology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular genetics, virology and pharmacy and his research focus is on immunotargeting of tumor cells, systemic autoimmunity.
He has received numerous awards including:
