
Omar A. Bekdache MD, MSc, FRCS, FACS, EBSQ
Omar A. Bekdache, MD, MSc, FRCS, FACS, EBSQ is a Consultant General Surgeon at Tawam Hospital – A former Johns Hopkins affiliate, currently serving as Chief of Trauma & Acute Care Services and Chairman of Trauma Committee.
Dr. Bekdache obtained his medical degree from the Lebanese University School of Medicine and residency training in General Surgery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and Makassed General Hospital. Dr Bekdache obtained a clinical fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery from the Universities of Lille & Paris – France and holds the European Board of Surgery.
Dr. Bekdache completed a Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Clinical fellowship from the University of McGill – Canada. He holds the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons' FACS,' the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow' FRCS' and a master's degree of Science & Experimental Surgery from McGill University - Canada.
Dr. Bekdache is Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences -United Arab Emirates University and was the Past President of ACS UAE Chapter. His clinical interests are Trauma & Acute Care Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Minimal Invasive Surgery.
